Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StoryDream mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by GKS Yazilim Hizmetleri Limited Sirketi ("we", "our", "us"). By using StoryDream, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account and Guest Access

You may use StoryDream by signing in with Google or Apple, or by continuing as a guest. Guest users can read pre-made stories and create a limited number of stories per month without registering. To access premium features and subscriptions, you must sign in with a Google or Apple account.

If you create stories for your child, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child and consent to the use of the Service on their behalf.

Guest data is tied to your device via a randomly generated identifier. If you uninstall the app or switch devices, guest stories may be lost unless you sign in to migrate them to an account. When you sign in, any stories created as a guest are automatically transferred to your new account.

2. The Service

StoryDream uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized children's stories, including text, illustrations, and audio narration. Each story is unique and created based on the character information you provide.

3. Free Tier and Subscriptions

• Guest users: You may read pre-made stories and create up to 1 story per month for free.
• Registered free tier: You may create 1 story per month for free.
• Premium subscription: Expanded story creation limits, available as monthly or annual plans.
• Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Refund requests should be directed to Apple or Google, as applicable.

4. AI-Generated Content

All stories, illustrations, and audio are generated by artificial intelligence. While we apply safety filters and content moderation:

• We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be free of errors or imperfections
• All content is designed to be safe and appropriate for children aged 2-10
• We continuously monitor and improve our content safety systems

5. Your Content

Stories generated through StoryDream are created for your personal, non-commercial use. You may:

• View, save, and share your stories with family and friends
• Delete your stories at any time

We retain the right to cache and serve generated content through our infrastructure for delivery purposes.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements or rate limits
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use automated tools to access the Service (bots, scrapers)
• Submit content designed to generate inappropriate, harmful, or offensive stories

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, all your data — including stories, account information, and authentication tokens — will be permanently removed.

Guest users may log out at any time, which removes all local data (including the device identifier). Guest stories stored on the server are automatically deleted after 180 days of inactivity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

StoryDream is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for content generated by AI systems beyond our reasonable safety measures

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
